With the rapid increasing of domestic and overseas aerial cableway, the monocline circulating detachable grip passenger cableway has become the main stream of cableway. For the low invests of the construction, it is affected slightly to the environment, and widely applied in various fields.

This paper is based on the theory of accurate segmented catenaries calculation, adopts the method of modular design and uses Visual Basic 5.0 version to program codes to develop software, which accomplishes the corresponding functions of aerial cableway analysis and calculation.
