Various factors affecting the slow-crack-growth ( SCG) resistance of ethylene copolymer ( denoted as polyethylene below) pipes were investigated, including the content, type, and their distribution on the backbone of the comonomers, as well as the molar mass of polyethylene.

Results indicate that the addition of right amount of PBT with low viscosity, ethylene copolymer A, rosin ester A and rosin ester B could improve the flowability of the composites to some extent without loss of their good mechanical properties and flame retardancy.
