OBJECTIVE To investigate into the effect of spine-regulation with electric acupuncture on the paravertebral myoelectric activity in teenagers with specific lateral curvature.

METHOD Changes in the paravertebral myoelectric activity in 30 teenagers with specific lateral curvature were recorded before and after the electric acupuncture treatment.
