The homogeneous model results show that the tritium breeding ratio would reach 1.20 for Be and Li_4SiO_4 volume ratios from 2 to 6. A realistic, sandwich-type design of the Be and Li_4SiO_4 loadings was used for a geometric approximation of the optimized volume ratio.
