这三个词共同的意思是“技术”。它们的区别是：
skill指实际工作或操作中运用的技巧和能力; technique指某种具体的技术或技巧,尤指音乐、工艺美术、写作等方面的技能; technology指知识在工业实际工作中的系统应用。例如:
Learning a foreign language is learning new skills.学习外语就是学习新技能。
She shows a good technique in playing the piano.她弹钢琴很有技巧。
He has reached a very low level of technology.他只达到了很低的技术水平。
这两个名词均有“技术”之意。
technique多指具体的某种技术和技巧。
technology含义比technique广泛，泛指生产工艺、科学技术。

technical的nique是名词性后缀；其中的tech根据发音法则：t=t,e=e,ch=k=ks=x=xt，所以tech=text。
我们知道：把text加上名词后缀：ure表示纺织、工艺的意思。
因为人类最早期的技术工艺品就是纺织品，所以我们中国古代四个字：男耕女织，这都是讲技术的；而西方的第一次工业革命也讲的是随着机器化大生产代替受工业生产，使得西方的纺织、运输等工业迅速发展。
所以可以看出来，texture是一种工艺，一种技术。同理，和其同源的tech也是技术的意思。
