Based on H ∞ control theory, the feedforward Active Noise Control ( ANC) model of one dimensional sound field in a duct is presented. The design problem of feedforward controller is transformed into the standard problem of H ∞ control.

In this paper, the two dimensional sound field is analysised by boundary element method and numerical formulars are brought out after three different procedures are compared.
