词源记忆法
这是一种观赏植物，汉语叫“迷迭香”。英语名称rosemary是拉丁文名称ros marinus演变而来的。ros意为dew（露），marinus意为marine（海的），ros marinus即sea-dew之意，因为昔日人们常在法国南部海边的悬崖上看到它，所以给它取了这么个名字。英语根据拉丁文名字把它叫做rosmarine。ros在英国人听来很像rose（玫瑰）一词，而marinus却使人想起常用名Mary。最后人们索性称之为rosemary，并以此花献给圣母玛利亚（virgin Mary）。
