Conclusions: CISH had many advantages with less wound. Benign uterine diseases can be treated by laparoscopic operation.

METHODS: One hundred and forty-two patients with benign gynecological pathological changes who would have hysterectomy were divided into two groups: 82 patients in experimental group who would have classic intrafascial supracervical hysterectomy ( CISH) and 60 patients in Traditional Gastrohysterectomy ( TH) group.
