In the re-examinations of the lymph node biopsies from 29 cases originally diagnosed as malignant lymphoma with their follow up study, 5 cases were misdiagnosed, 3 with reactive hyperplasia and 2 with histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis. The rate of misdiagnosis was 17.2%.

Re-examinations with B-ultrasonography or intravenous urography ( IVU) at 3 months after operation in 46 cases revealed no ureteral stricture. Hydronephrosis subsided by 1.4 ± 0.5 cm in 28 cases and completely disappeared in 21 cases.
