Methods Corneal alkali-burn models of 48 New Zealand white rabbits were made. The rabbits were divided into fresh amniotic membrane transplantation group ( fAMT), preserved amniotic membrane transplantation group ( pAMT) and a control group ( C).

Results: The contents of MDA in pAMT and fAMT were lower than that in C, and the vitality of SOD were higher. ( P < 0.01).
